Security arrangements have been significantly strengthened in Islamabad ahead of the arrival of the Iranian President, resulting in temporary restrictions and transportation disruptions across the capital.

Authorities have temporarily closed major bus terminals, including Faizabad and Chongi No. 26, with operations expected to remain suspended until the conclusion of the official visit. The Red Zone has also been sealed, allowing access only to authorized personnel as part of enhanced security protocols.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the visit, more than a thousand police officers and paramilitary personnel have been deployed across key routes, government installations, and other sensitive locations. Security measures have been expanded throughout Islamabad and surrounding areas to maintain public safety and facilitate official engagements.

Officials have advised residents and commuters to plan their travel accordingly, as public transportation services, including Metro Bus and e-bus operations, may experience temporary suspensions or route adjustments during the visit.

The visit reflects ongoing diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Iran, with discussions expected to focus on bilateral cooperation and regional developments.
