A major fire broke out at Islamabad’s H-9 Sunday Bazaar, causing extensive damage and destroying approximately 335 shops and stalls, according to rescue officials.
Authorities reported that the blaze spread rapidly across the market area, with the situation reportedly worsening after batteries stored inside some shops exploded. Initial findings suggest that the fire may have originated from a short circuit, though investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause.
