Shifa International Hospitals has achieved a remarkable global milestone by becoming the only hospital in the world to simultaneously receive Joint Commission International (JCI) Clinical Care Programme Certification for both Acute Ischemic Stroke and Acute Coronary Syndrome care.
The prestigious recognition follows comprehensive evaluations of the hospital’s clinical pathways, including emergency response, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term patient management. The certifications confirm that Shifa meets some of the highest international standards for patient safety, quality care, and clinical excellence.
The achievement also represents a national first for Pakistan, making Shifa International the only healthcare facility in the country to hold both internationally recognized certifications in stroke and cardiac care at the same time.
