The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has warned overseas Pakistanis against sharing personal information with unauthorized individuals or organizations claiming to represent the authority.

NADRA clarified that it has no authorized consultants, agents or dealers to process identity documents or submit online applications on its behalf.

Instead, overseas Pakistanis can access its services through NADRA Registration Centers and counters established at Pakistani embassies abroad. A list of these facilities is available on the authority’s official website.

Overseas Pakistanis can also apply for their first National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) through NADRA’s Pak ID mobile app. Applicants must provide the required personal and family details, upload supporting documents, complete biometric verification, and pay the applicable fee.

Applicants can track their applications through the app, although NADRA may request additional documents or an in-person visit if online verification is unsuccessful.
