Thousands of Easypaisa users across Pakistan are experiencing difficulties accessing their accounts due to an ongoing service disruption affecting the platform’s digital banking operations.

According to user reports, many customers have been unable to log in despite entering the correct PIN, while others have encountered issues with biometric authentication, including fingerprint verification. The technical problems have prevented affected users from accessing their accounts and completing various financial transactions.

The disruption has impacted routine activities such as money transfers, bill payments, mobile top-ups, and other digital financial services, causing inconvenience for individuals and businesses that rely on the platform for daily transactions.

Easypaisa has acknowledged the issue, stating that the disruption is intermittent and currently affects only a portion of its customer base rather than all users. The company assured customers that its technical teams are actively investigating the problem and working to restore services as quickly as possible.

While no official timeline has been provided for a complete resolution, Easypaisa said efforts are ongoing to normalize operations and minimize the impact on users.

The incident has once again highlighted Pakistan’s growing reliance on digital financial services, where millions of people depend on mobile wallets and online payment platforms for everyday banking needs. Even temporary outages can significantly disrupt personal and business financial activities.

Customers affected by the disruption have been advised to remain patient while restoration work continues. Easypaisa has stated that further updates will be shared as progress is made and services are gradually restored across the country.
