The Federal Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, in close coordination with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime Wing and the British Council Pakistan, has initiated an exhaustive forensic investigation into allegations surrounding the unauthorized digital leakage of Cambridge International AS and A-Level examination question papers.

The investigation was triggered after leaked screenshots of the A-Level Mathematics and Chemistry question papers were reportedly circulated across private Telegram study channels, WhatsApp groups, and online student forums hours before the scheduled examination commencement in examination centers across Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi.

Investigators are currently performing digital forensic analysis on suspected online accounts and cross-examining staff at several commercial test-preparation academies. Authorities suspect an organized syndicate exploiting examination delivery transit channels to monetize leaked question papers for substantial illicit sums.

Cambridge International Assessment has issued an official statement assuring affected students and parents that comprehensive forensic marking algorithms will safeguard grading integrity, ensuring that honest candidates are not disadvantaged by compromised examination papers.
