Job Description & Role Mission

Systems Limited is seeking an accomplished Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our flagship Digital Engineering practice. In this role, you will architect, build, and maintain mission-critical enterprise applications and high-throughput fintech platforms powering millions of transactions across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. You will collaborate closely with principal enterprise architects, product managers, UX designers, and cloud infrastructure engineers. The ideal candidate has deep mastery of modern web architecture, understands server-side rendering nuances, micro-frontends, asynchronous distributed workflows, and is passionate about clean code, test automation, and developer ergonomics. As a senior technical anchor, you will actively guide technical roadmap discussions, participate in architectural spikes, conduct rigorous code reviews, and mentor mid-level and junior engineers to foster engineering excellence across cross-functional agile squads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade web applications using Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, and Node.js microservices.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain highly available relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL/Caching (Redis, DynamoDB) datastores.
  • Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate complex functional requirements into responsive, accessible interfaces.
  • Implement robust CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS/Azure infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, enforce strict TypeScript typing, security best practices, and automated unit/integration testing with Jest and Playwright.
  • Profile application performance, identifying bottlenecks in server-side rendering, bundle sizes, and database indexing.
  • Mentor and coach intermediate developers in software design patterns, Clean Architecture, and domain-driven design principles.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of production experience in full-stack web development using modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.
  • Proven expertise with React 18+, Next.js (Server Components, SSR/SSG, streaming), and Node.js runtime environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services following industry-standard OpenAPI specifications.
  • Solid understanding of database schema design, transactions, indexing strategies, and query performance tuning in PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker containers, and container orchestration concepts.
  • Deep knowledge of automated testing suites (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic mindset, and excellent verbal and written communication in English.
